Change of mind

If you need to return a product you purchased, we’ll welcome it back with open arms. Your satisfaction is what matters to us. If you change your mind, you have 14 days and all our understanding. Returns of any Rippotai product in its original condition of sale, i.e. new, unused and intact, are free of charge for orders shipped within Italy. For orders shipped outside Italy, the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.

Right of withdrawal

The User has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded with Rippotai, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days, starting from:

  1. for service contracts or contracts for the supply of digital content, the day the contract is concluded;
  2. for sales contracts, the day on which the User, or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by the User, takes physical possession of the product, or: b.1) for multiple goods ordered by the consumer in a single order and delivered separately, the day on which the User, or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by the User, takes physical possession of the last item;
    b.2) for goods consisting of multiple lots or pieces, the day on which the User, or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by the User, takes physical possession of the last lot or piece;
    b.3) for contracts for the regular delivery of goods over a set period of time, the day on which the User, or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by the User, takes physical possession of the first item.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalised.

The 14-day withdrawal period is extended to 30 days for purchases made not through the Website but through other means of distance communication, following a phone call aimed at promoting the sale.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User must clearly inform Rippotai of their decision to withdraw within the above deadlines. They can do so using the model withdrawal form in Appendix 1 of these Terms, or by making any other clear statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract, sent:

However you contact us, you must send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period stated above has expired. When exercising the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must return the goods to Rippotai, or to a third party authorised by Rippotai to receive them, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the date on which they told Rippotai of their decision to withdraw. Return instructions will be sent to the User by email. For orders shipped within Italy, return shipping costs are borne by Rippotai. For orders shipped outside Italy, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the User.

The deadline is met if the User sends the goods back before the 14-day period has expired.

In the event of withdrawal, the User must take the necessary precautions to preserve the products. In particular, the User is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products. Rippotai asks Users who intend to withdraw to avoid any handling beyond what is strictly necessary for these checks.

When returning products, Rippotai asks the User to include the original proof of purchase, the original packaging and any accessories.

Unless Rippotai has offered to collect the products itself, for sales contracts Rippotai may withhold the refund until it has received the products, or until the User has provided evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

If the User withdraws from the contract, Rippotai will refund all payments received in relation to the contract, including the original delivery costs (except for any additional costs if the User chose a delivery method faster than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of the User’s decision to withdraw. Rippotai will refund the payment using the same payment method the User chose in the original transaction, unless the User has expressly requested a different method. In any event, no handling or cancellation fees will be charged for the refund.

Refund times depend solely on the payment system chosen by the User. Once the refund has been issued, Rippotai cannot be held responsible for any delays or failures in crediting the amount by the payment service provider.

Loss of the right of withdrawal for digital content

For contracts for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal does not apply if performance of the contract has begun before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period with the User’s express consent, subject to the conditions set out in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.

For any contract for the supply of sealed audio recordings, video recordings or software, the right of withdrawal is lost if the seal is removed or broken after delivery.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, please follow the procedure described in the previous section.
